Our consulting process is reinforced with solid project management. Delaris’s team uses the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) PMBOK as a framework. We apply the valuable tools it offers to fit your specific project. The PMBOK methodology includes five process groups:

• Initiating – Envisioning and permitting a project phase
• Planning – Devising approaches and identifying resources, which can complete the phase
• Executing – Using resources to carry out the plan
• Controlling – Monitoring and adjusting activities to meet phase objectives
• Closing – Accepting the work products and ending the phase or project

Each process leads to the following process, creating a project and phase life cycle. In development projects, we utilize a two-tier Agile approach, meaning: the entire project has a life cycle and each deliverable within the project have life cycles of their own. This method has proven highly effective in our IT projects because it ensures focus on key deliverables while maintaining responsiveness to potential changes in both the government/business environment and in technology.
